Product Manager

  • As a product manager, you will play a pivotal role in defining and driving the vision, strategy, and execution of our Travel -related products.
  • You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our products meet the evolving needs of the travel industry and exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy: Develop and communicate a clear product strategy and vision for travel-related products, aligning them with the company's goals and market needs.
  • Pre Sales & Implementation Strategy: Share content for product documentation, sales tools, and collateral.
    • Create standard and tailor-made presentations, and demo scripts showing product value.
    • Give presentations, demos and familiarization sessions to customer, or train Sales to perform them.
    • Participate in the preparation of key events, guaranteeing the success of product launches and follow up.
    • Contribute to answering RFP/RFI for the product.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive products, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and challenges in the travel domain.
  • Product Roadmap: Create and maintain a product roadmap that outlines key milestones, features, and release schedules, considering market dynamics and customer requirements.
  • Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with travel industry experts, customers, and internal stakeholders to gather, prioritise, and document product requirements.
  • Product Development: Work closely with the engineering and design teams to ensure products are developed efficiently and meet quality standards. Make data-driven decisions to drive product development.
  • Launch and Go-to-Market: Lead product launches, including defining go-to-market strategies, creating marketing materials, and coordinating with sales and customer support teams.
  • Performance Analysis: Continuously monitor product performance, gather feedback, and use data analysis to make improvements, increase customer satisfaction, and drive product adoption.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to ensure successful product development and market adoption.

Key Requirements & Characteristics

  • Experience in Travel domain.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (MBA or advanced degree is a plus).
  • Proven experience as a product manager in the travel.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Data-driven decision-making and analytical skills.
  • Ability to prioritise, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric approach

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies
  • Experience with travel-related software or hardware products
  • Knowledge of travel maintenance, operations, or air traffic management.
  • Industry certifications or memberships in relevant travel organisations
